The question posed to me was profoundly stirring: what single word resonates within me, a word that will guide me through the challenges of the year ahead? As I delved deep into my memories, reflecting on the trials I have faced and the obstacles I have triumphantly overcome, one word emerged with unwavering clarity—ROOTED.
No one can define who I am—only Christ within me holds that power. I took the time to seek my true path instead of relying on others’ opinions. Have you ever experienced having an identity, yet instead of embracing it, you sought validation from those around you? That was my journey; I focused on authenticity, knowing that my worth isn’t dependent on pleasing others for their approval.
I have embraced my voice and my power. I’ve initiated progress, and I no longer seek permission to be great—this time is different. What’s within me has taken hold of every facet of my being. My mind, body, soul, and spirit have transformed. My foundation is unyielding, and my belief system is unwavering. I confidently live my truth and leave my past behind. I’ve finally realized that my past does not define me; it was merely a stepping stone to the strong woman I am today. I know I can change, and I am fully liberated. I am ROOTED and I know exactly who I am.

Experiencing the vibrant life that God has destined for me is my sole desire and my unwavering commitment. I have become a prisoner within the confines of my own mind. Yet, the Bible reassures me in John 8:36, “Who the Son sets free, is free indeed,” igniting a fervent hope within me for true liberation.
This year is an empowering Faith walk for me because I am ROOTED.
I am no longer second guessing the visions God has given me; I am ROOTED.
Everything I touch shall prosper because I am ROOTED.
Wherever my feet go, Christ has already paved the way ahead of me because….. I am ROOTED.
I’m striding through life, embracing a reality filled with VICTORY because I am ROOTED.
Nothing and no one will ever come between the love I have for my God because I am ROOTED.
Now let’s get things moving ahead.
